The first was a spirit of unity in gratitude, marking 25 years of our institution’s existence. The second was our annual theme, “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle: A Year of Zero Waste,” inspired by Laudato Si and its call for environmental stewardship.
In line with these values, our staff came together on December 7, 2024, for a day of reflection and celebration at Chaminade Garden. The morning session, led by our former chaplain, Fr. Bernard Silungwe, was a time to look back on our journey and express collective gratitude, leaving us inspired and motivated for the future. The afternoon was dedicated to social activities, fostering camaraderie among staff members.
The day also featured a special moment of recognition for our Principal, Mrs. Wanangwa Sichone, who was honored as the longest-serving member of our institution. Joining the team in 2000, just a year after its establishment, the Principal’s dedication and leadership have been integral to our success.
Above is a photograph taken following the conclusion of the morning reflection session.
